In honor of Asian American Pacific Islander heritage month, and as the first of a series, Asian Americans in Energy, the Environment and Commerce (AE2C) is co-hosting a virtual roundtable with Dentons Global Smart Cities & Connected Communities Think Tank on May 20, 2021 at 12 noon EDT. Enhancing Asian American Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Energy and Environment Sectors – Stories from Mid-Career Professionals will highlight experiences from several AE2C leaders – Rasheq Rahman (DC), Caitlin Smith (Austin), Saadia Sultan (Houston), Puja Vohra (Boston) and Charles Yeung (Houston) – while discussing the benefits of a diverse workforce and suggestions for affecting positive change in the energy and environment industries. The discussion will open with remarks from AE2C VP Jeanette Pablo. Emma Hand, Dentons' Partner will moderate the discussion.
