    Energizing the Future:
What will the Future Electricity Grid Look Like?

    August 21, 2019

    Asia Nine
915 E Street NW, Washington, DC

What will the 2050 Grid look like and what pathways do we need to get there?  How can we take the greatest engineering achievement in the 20th century and make it the engineering achievement that brings the greatest quality of life to the U.S. population in the 21st century?  Should the Grid be a platform for Smart Communities, cleaner energy, long distance and distributed renewables?  Which emerging technologies can contribute to grid resiliency, security, and efficiency?  What changes should be considered to the current regulatory frameworks to facilitate this transition.  Please join our experts as we discuss these important issues.
