International Day of Clean Air - September 7, 2021

A great way to kick off the fall season is by celebrating the International Day of Clean Air. This holiday was presented at the United Nations’ 74th General Assembly and adopted on Dec 19, 2019. It supports the importance of worldwide cooperation toward the prevention of air pollution since air pollution does not respect political boundaries.

For AE2C, clean air speaks to the three tenants of our organization – energy because to have clean air globally, we need a clean and diverse energy supply; environment because everyone in the world deserves to breathe clean air and live in healthy and sustainable communities. Finally, clean air is the product of open space and cross-border cooperation where commerce and sustainable development are linked throughout the world.
